აღწერა: Photo is taken in Akhali Samgori. The village of 1,850 sits a few kilometres from Rustavi, one of Georgia’s main industrial towns. The landfill facility, located approximately three kilometres away from the village, was set up in 2011 and it covers an area of 7.4 hectares. On windy days waste from the landfill flies around and gets trapped into run-down fences. Almost every household owns livestock - cows, sheep or simply chickens. Animals eat the waste that the wind spreads across the fields.
